Houston Battling Cancer

Houston

Ex-Porn Star Houston

Houston is most famous for her adult film appearances including two large gangbang videos produced in the late 90’s.  She left the adult business around 2003 and recently was diagnosed with melanoma.  She is also a born-again Christian and is a member of the XXX Church, a religious organization that helps former adult performers and porn addicts.  Here is Houston’s story in her own words:

My story, upbringing and the problems I experienced are far too common.  A family history of alcoholism and abuse and a personal history of alcoholism and drug abuse rarely lead to good things.  You can walk into any strip club or porn set in the world and will find that 99% of the women have the same back story.  Through hard work, bad luck and a lot of pain I was able to take porn to a whole new level.  I achieved national and international success and experienced people, places and things most people only dream of.

Unfortunately, those incredible highs have also been offset by horrible lows, from medical drama to addiction, divorce, kids teasing my child and now cancer.

The world of porn is one that thrives on numbness typically created by drugs and alcohol.  The more numb you are, the more you are willing to do.  The more drunk and high you are, the crazier things you do and the more you get paid. It’s a vicious cycle.  Case in point, I had sex with 620 guys in a single day.  The event was a successful publicity stunt that won me an award for best selling video of all time.  That, along with the other movies and crazy stuff I did catapulted me to the top of the adult world. I was so deep into porn that I just took the ball and ran with it, doing more and more outrageous things.

Houston early in her career

Houston early in her career

I was a single parent living in LA, supporting my daughter by doing bachelor parties, bikini contests and mud wrestling. At the same time I was also getting into mainstream acting, but not making it big fast enough.  I was introduced to a porn agent and asked if I’d like to be in a porn video, they paid very well and I thought I had nothing to lose.  That week the producer called me and asked me if I would like to be an exclusive contract girl for their company. They would pay me $10,000 a month for several films.  I was so broke and struggling that there was no question in my mind. I didn’t think of anything but the fame and money, not God, disease, my family or anything.

By 2002, I was still living in LA.   I had bought a home in the San Fernando Valley, I was a featured stripper for 32 weeks a year all over the world. I was surviving on methamphetamines to keep going and was a complete mess. I was still doing porn and basically killing myself.  I had a nanny for my daughter who would take care of us both, I don’t know how she did it.  She said she prayed for me all of the time.

By now ten years had gone by and I had become one of the biggest porn stars in the history of the adult industry. I was an empty shell full of hate and sadness and I felt totally alone.  I contemplated suicide often and all the money in the world couldn’t make me feel happy or whole.  By that time in my life I had by then been brought to my knees on several occasions, praying to God to not let me die this time.  My heart would beat so fast that I know a couple times God stepped in and saved me.

I had enough and I knew couldn’t die and leave my daughter.  I decided to sell the house and move as far away as I could afford from my druggie friends and porn.  I retired after 10 years, having been inducted into the porn hall of fame.  I thought “my daughter and I can move to Vegas and start a new life,” and that’s what we did.  I couldn’t handle the fans and the people all over; I knew I would eventually overdose if I stayed in LA.

Later, I got my real estate license and was working for a home builder.  I had been working for them for a couple of years, trying not to wear a lot of makeup, dying my hair brown and even gaining some weight as to not get recognized. In April 2008, I was fired on the spot. Someone in the corporate office recognized me.  I was devastated, I worked so hard and was a great sales person. They said they just couldn’t have me on the front lines, even if that career was in the past.

That same month, I was diagnosed with stage III Melanoma Cancer.  I was in complete shock, I never had a growth removed or any kind of skin issues.  It was in my lymphatic system.  In July, I had extensive surgery to remove several lymph nodes in both my right and left arm.  I recovered for a month and then in August I was put on a drug [a form of chemo] for an entire month, intravenously, everyday.  I now give myself injections at home three times a week for the remaining 11 months.  It’s a year of treatment and the percentages of survival are not good… but my attitude is.     Everyday I put on my armor when I get up.  I will beat this demon, I have beat worse. I know that I am special and God is going to use me to help others. God has something for me that I can’t even imagine.

My story is one of hope, that people can change, that women and men in porn have a choice and they don’t have to be violated or exploit themselves in order to feel accepted and loved.  There are people to help and love them unconditionally, to show them God is love.  I am growing in God everyday and will continue to learn and grow in the church.  I cannot change the past, but the past does not make my future. Everyone needs to know God is a loving God and He will love you.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and vowed to never be a part of the world that I had lived in before.  I have asked for forgiveness and know that I am worthy. My daughter has been attending a new church for 7 months and I started going about 4 months ago.  It’s a wonderful church and we love it.  I found out about XXXChurch there and wanted to get involved from the minute I found out about what they were doing.  I want to help these girls see that they don’t have to go that route…and if I can do it, so can they.

Jenna Jameson Gives Birth To Twin Boys

Jenna Jameson and Tito Ortiz

Jenna Jameson and Tito Ortiz

Adult movie star Jenna Jameson and her Ultimate Fighter boyfriend are parents of twins, according to Us magazine.

Jameson, 34, the star of films such as “Fantasm” and “I Dream of Jenna,” delivered two baby boys on Monday morning, the magazine reported.

“They’re in very good health,” her rep told the magazine.

Jameson announced in May that she and boyfriend Tito Ortiz — a mixed martial arts fighter — would be having babies. The magazine reported that a source said the boys are “in very good health.”

Jameson had miscarried in November 2004 one day after she was diagnosed with malignant melanoma.

A self-described Catholic, Jameson has said that she felt having a baby was “God’s plan,” according to Us. But she has said she had no plans to wed her boyfriend anytime soon.

“I think I’m gonna stay unmarried and just go for the babies!” she told Us. “I’m following in Angelina’s footsteps!”

In recent years, Jameson has branched out beyond the daily grind. She is the author of “How to Make Love Like a Porn Star.”

Back in February, Jameson launched a perfume called “Heartbreaker,” which the New York Daily News described as a “heady scent with undertones of vanilla, latex and skank.”

Ex-Playboy Palymate and Porn Actress Teri Weigel Is Now A Fishing Boat Girl

7 09 2008
Teri Weigel

Teri Weigel

Teri Weigel is best known for being one of the only Playboy Playmates to ever appear in hardcore porn.  After Playboy she was also able to land mainstream roles in Miami Vice, Married With Children and The Prededtor 2.

Teri’s latest gig is on a fishing boat that operates out of Fort Pierce, FL.  Smokin’ Em Charters is a deep sea fishing operation that started to offer charters with bikini clad women in January of 2008.  Once the boats get 3 miles off shore the women go topless for the patrons.

In March, Smokin’ Em was kicked out of Fisherman’s Wharf Marina but quickly found another marina around Fort Pierce, FL and setup shop there.

Weigel, now 46, has appearead in adult films as late as 2007.  She has had a long career in the adult industry and has worn many hats.  She started as a model, to mainstream, to softcore, hardcore, feature dancer, bunny ranch girl and now fishing boat girl.  Teri will surely keep us entertained for years to come.

Porn Legend Teri Weigel Interview

Conducted and Edited by Brian Bush
Originally published in layers magazine issue number five

The third of five children, Teri was raised within a devoutly Catholic family in the conservative city of Deerfield Beach, Florida. A natural beauty, she began modeling in her teens, appearing in catalogs for Saks Fifth Avenue and other high-end companies. She later moved to New York and signed with a major modeling agency, which placed her in “Seventeen” magazine and other publications. Modeling gigs in Europe followed. Upon her return to Florida, Teri entered her first beauty contest and was named Miss Deerfield in 1979.

As a result of Teri’s lingerie work for Saks and others, Playboy Magazine soon came calling. She did some test shots for the magazine, and was asked to become a Centerfold. Teri graced the cover of the November ‘85 issue, and appeared as the Centerfold in April 1986. Teri found posing nude liberating, and she enjoyed the fame and money that came with being a Playboy Centerfold.

Teri worked for Playboy for a couple of years, producing several well-received videos. But company gigs eventually became fewer and fewer. Worse, Playboy refused to help promote her mainstream television and film work, which ranged from multiple appearances on Fox’s “Married With Children” to roles in “Predator 2″, “Marked for Death” with Steven Seagall, “Sunset” with Bruce Willis and James Garner, and cult genre flicks such as “Auntie Lee’s Meat Pies” with Karen Black, “Cheerleader Camp” and John Landis’s “Innocent Blood”.

It quickly became obvious that Teri had outlived her usefulness as a Centerfold, and Playboy unceremoniously kicked her to the curb. (It was the beginning of an acrimonious relationship that continues to this day.) As mainstream jobs became increasingly fewer, Teri finally considered a career in hardcore porn – something no other Playboy Centerfold had ever done (or has done since). Because of this decision, Teri became persona non grata within Playboy, which has gone to extraordinary lengths to squelch her porn career. In one notable example, Hugh Hefner actually called Bob Guccione asking him not to make Teri a Penthouse Pet. As a result, she has appeared only in smaller pictorials.

Wisely capitalizing on her fame and exposure a Centerfold, Teri quickly became a sensation within the porn industry. She had her breasts enlarged (something she says she did for her own self-esteem, not because she had to) and almost immediately achieved superstar status as a result of her remarkable enthusiasm as a performer. To date she has made nearly 50 adult videos. Much of Teri’ continued success is a result of her uncanny ability to re-invent herself within an industry infamous for using then tossing aside its talent, and this has kept her in the forefront for nearly a decade.

Layers: What’s the best part about what you do?

Teri Weigel: Probably the fact that I’m able to be myself. Unrestricted. No rules.

Layers: What’s the worst part?

Teri: The traveling. I have 9 puppies at home and I have to leave them almost every week. I work about 40 weeks out of the year. I come home on Sunday and leave again on Tuesday or Wednesday. I only get to see my puppies like three days out of the week.

Layers: Have you had any problems in the past with obsessive fans?

Teri: Not really. I can usually handle people. No gory stories.

Layers: And you’ve been married for 16 years, correct?

Teri: Yes.

Layers: What’s the secret to maintaining a marriage not only outside of the adult industry, but especially being in the industry?

Teri: It’s hard. It takes a lot of communicating and talking to your spouse about the things that trouble you or about the things that you are interested in. The most important thing is the communication. There are times when I’ll be up against the wall with certain things that are brought up and you have to learn that when it comes to men that it’s “give and take” in order to get a step ahead. And as far as being in the adult industry, that’s just helped the relationship because of the honesty that comes with it. We were put in a position were we were forced to be honest with each other and it worked for us.

(Murrill Maglio, Teri’s husband, is in charge of most of Teri’s career on the business ends. He’s also directed approximately ten adult video, one of which won an award at the Adult Video News Awards circa 1995.)

Layers: Where did you guys meet?

Teri: We met in West Palm Beach Florida. He was doin’ a gig with his band and my sister was dating the keyboard player at the time. I was home visiting from Paris. That’s where I was living at the time because I was modeling. And we just started talking at the bar in between the gigs. He told me that he was going through a separation with his wife and are relationship began and ended that night. Then a couple months down the road, my sister told me that he asked to see me and I came in again.

Layers: And all of this happened even before Playboy?

Teri: Yes.

Layers: So you guys have been together since the beginning.

Teri: Yes. And it was hard with Playboy because Playboy didn’t want us to be married.

Layers: Why didn’t they want you to be married?

Teri: Because you are considered to be a “Miss” of a month. I was Miss April and they wanted you to stay single for as long as you could so you could be available for parties or whatever they wanted to throw you into. So we kept it quite for almost a year until one of the other Playmates blabbed her mouth. And Hef (Hugh Hefner, Playboy Publisher) was pretty pissed. Cuz I worked a lot for them. I was one of there top girls.

Teri Weigel Playboy

Teri Weigel Playboy

Layers: So how did that original Playboy deal come together?

Teri: About two months after I began dating Murrill, Playboy held a casting call for “See Through Fashions” in Miami. I had just gotten back from Paris and I had established a great look. I did a lot of stuff over there and I had a great portfolio put together and they picked me. They flew me to some island over the Atlantic and they did a small pictorial with me and another girl from the same agency I was with. And the make-up artist said that I would make a great Playmate and that I should go to Chicago and test shoot. So I waited a couple of months and Murrill thought that it would be a great opportunity for me. So I listened to him and I called Playboy and told them that I wanted to test to be a Playmate. They flew me to Chicago and we shot. And the shots turned out beautiful. I never saw myself look so good in a picture. The photographers were brilliant. It was the first time that I did anything like that and I was excited because of how good I looked nude. Then about a month later they called me and told me that they wanted me for the cover. And my cover ended up getting bumped for Madonna because there was a big scandal going on with her at the time. And I was pissed because I would have been the first cover girl in the staple-less issue. So I was the cover girl for the second staple-less issue.

Layers: What was Playboys initial reaction when you first made your venture into the world of hardcore?

Teri: It was almost hypocritical because Playboy began to venture out into cable with the Playboy Channel. And because me and Murrill were married, they decided to use us together in scenes. And the people who were shooting these “soft-core” videos for Playboy were filmmakers from the adult industry. So after about ten or fifteen of these shoots we started to get comfortable being on camera. And since we were married they just told us to go ahead and have sex. So we did and it made the films look really good and real and Hef didn’t seem to have problem with it probably because they were editing out the penetration. But I knew that once I crossed over to the point were I was working for other companies doing penetration that there would be trouble. Hef wrote me a letter telling me that I let the Playmates down by what I did. And I didn’t feel that way because I probably wouldn’t even have done all of this if it weren’t for Playboy. I just viewed it as a step forward in my career. There wasn’t much left for me to do for Playboy. I had done everything I possibly could for them. And at that point it was either go home and raise kids or continue on with my career. So I chose to go X-rated.

Layers: So you and Murrill made the step into hardcore together?

Teri: We did the first movie together. They had it set up where him and I did a scene and then he had a scene with two other chicks. It was his first time and it was really hard and the girls were real mean to him and he got turned off and decided not to do it anymore. We finished the movie but it was really hard for him. I had no problem though and it was a lot of money.

(Teri Weigels first XXX film was for Wicked Pictures. It debuted in 1991 and was titled Inferno. Inferno stared Ashley Nicole, Alicyn Sterling, April Rayne, Joey Silvera, Mark Wallace, Joey Murphy, and Teri’s husband Murrill Maglio.)

Layers: And he didn’t have a problem with you being with other guys?

Teri: No. It was something that we knew was gonna happen if I wanted to pursue this career. And that’s where the honesty comes from.

Layers: Was it difficult to make that transition?

Teri: Yea it was. I had a lot of factors to consider. Family and stuff like that. And Playboy just kind of shut the door and I was already kind of doing it so it seemed O.K. to me because they weren’t having a problem with it when I was making the money for them. The problem was that Hef no longer had any power over me.

Layers: What’s your relationship with Playboy today?

Teri: I tried to write him when they came out with the pictorial with the pornstars because they left me out. And I was very upset. And he wrote back and told me that I was a Playmate who broke the rules.

Layers: Is there anything you won’t do on film?

Teri: Anal. I will not do anal.

Layers: Has the adult industry changed at all since your first film in 1991?

Teri: Absolutely. There’s some good things and there’s some bad things. There’s better looking guys now. But they’re better looking with bigger attitudes and less performance qualities. Meaning that they’ve got big dicks but they can’t keep them hard. And with everybody eating Viagra like candy, they sometimes get aggressive. Back in the old days they fucked and it was their adrenaline. The companies have changed a lot too. There are a lot more companies out there and there are a lot more girls doing it. Stuff has gotten a lot harder- core too. A lot of the guys are into knockin’ the girls around. I’m not into that shit at all.

Layers: Who are some of the more well known stars you’ve worked with in the past?

Teri: I’ve worked with Rocco Sigfried, Peter North, Randy West…

Layers: …Marc Wallice?

Teri: Yea, I fucked Marc Wallice years ago and I know were you’re going with this and during the time period that he contracted HIV my career was on hold do to a major car accident. I was out for about three years. But yea, I was with him before the whole AIDS scare.

(Marc Wallice was considered to be one of the biggest male stars in the industry until he tested positive for HIV in 1998. If you’ve seen a porno, then you’ve seen Marc Wallice. This news was considered to be the biggest shock to the industry since the death of John Holmes in 1988 from an AIDS related illness.)

Layers: What was the feeling in the industry when they found out he had it?

Teri: It was pretty fuckin’ scary. The main concern was to how long he had it and who he had been with while he had it. And back then, they didn’t really know as much about AIDS as they do now. They didn’t know how long it lay dormant. It was scary.

Layers: You appeared for a short while at the Bunny Ranch in Nevada, the only legal brothel in the United States. How did that gig come about and what was that experience like for you?

Teri: It was just an experience. I met up with Dennis, the owner, and it was kind of like doin’ movies. They had really respectable high-end clients and it was a lot of money.

Layers: You’ve done some mainstream work too. What’s the different in the atmosphere on a big Hollywood set compared to the atmosphere on a porn shoot?

Teri: The attitudes are a lot more neutral on a Hollywood set. There’s more attitude on a porn set because sometimes you have a lot of hot girls together who each think they are better than the other. It can get catty.

Layers: Can you offer any advice to young girls out there who are considering a career in the adult industry?

Teri: They need to think about it really long and hard because it’s a journey that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. And if they are strong enough to handle it then they should have no problems. If they’re not strong individuals, then they might want to rethink it. It’s not as glamorous as it seems. It’s a hard life and people always recognize you for what you do.

Layers: What’s been the biggest obstacle that you’ve had to overcome to get where you are today?

Teri: I don’t really know. Everything that has come my way in life I’ve been able to work through in a logical manner. If I had to say one thing, it would probably be my relationship with Playboy.

Layers: What do you have to say to people who condemn pornography as socially irresponsible?

Teri: I just think that everybody should think for themselves and make their own decisions in life and not have their decisions made up for them by what other people delegate as to what’s good or what’s bad. I think that an open mind is very important for young people today so that we can form a stronger society than what we already have. Porn is not the problem.

Layers: What’s next for the great Teri Weigel?

Teri: I just finished two films for Wicked Pictures. Those will be the last ones. But they don’t know that yet. I’ve got five more weeks in the adult industry and them I’m gonna turn a new leaf and I’m gonna have my own show at the Sahara Hotel in Vegas singing. We don’t have a name for the group yet but there will be a live band behind me and four backup singers. It will be a mixed show with a comedian and a magician and we got the big room so it sits 850 people. Rehearsals are the whole month of January and we’ll be premiering the week after the Super Bowl.

Wikipedia
Teri Weigel

Teri Weigel

Teresa “Teri” Susan Weigel (born February 24, 1962) is a American pornographic actress, Playboy Playmate, and occasional prostitute.

Weigel was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and grew up in Deerfield Beach, Florida, where she attended Deerfield Beach High School, and began her career as a lingerie catalog model for companies such as Saks Fifth Avenue. She first appeared on the cover of the November, 1985 issue of Playboy, and then was the Playboy Playmate for April, 1986. (See List of people in Playboy 1980-1989.) Weigel also appeared in a number of Playboy videos before her relationship with Playboy ended acrimoniously in 1990, and she has claimed that Playboy has tried to interfere in her post-Playmate career.

In addition to modeling, Weigel appeared in a minor role on NBC’s Miami Vice during the 1985-1986 season.

She subsequently had several minor roles in mainstream film, including Predator 2 and Marked for Death, and made multiple appearances as “Jade” on Married… with Children, before becoming the second Playmate ever to act in hardcore pornography, after appearing in Playboy, in 1991. (The first was Susan Lynn Kiger.) She was also the second Playmate to go on to appear in Penthouse magazine, after Ursula Buchfellner,[3] November 1985, although not as a Pet of the Month (that “first” belongs to Linn Thomas). Weigel continues to act in porn videos, pose nude in magazine pictorials, and also performs nationally as a nude dancer. She has also worked as a featured performer in a legal Nevada brothel, the Moonlite Bunny Ranch. Her husband since 1986, Murrill Maglio, is also her manager.

Shortly after beginning to act in porn films, Weigel had her breasts augmented. She has also changed her hair color from her original dark brown to blonde. Weigel has been in two serious car crashes (in 1990 and again in 1994), and it is unknown if she had any plastic surgery as a result.

In 2005, Weigel was one of many porn actors inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame at the AVN Awards, the major industry awards show held annually in Las Vegas.

As of April 2008, Weigel was working as a Bikini Girl on fishing charter boats out of Fort Pierce, Florida.

40 Years Of Marilyn Chambers

4 03 2008
Marilyn Chambers 1952-2009

Marilyn Chambers 1952-2009

A true icon of the adult film business has died.  Marilyn Chambers was found dead in her mobile home Sunday by her daughter McKenna.  She was a pioneer in adult entertainment and was one of the first adult film stars to become a household name.  Before there was Ginger or Jenna, there was Marilyn.  The cause of death is not known at this time.  I will post more as soon as I know.

Meanwhile here is a report I found about her death…

In 1972, a movie called Behind the Green Door proved that ordinary Americans would sit through a feature-length experimental art film with vague intimations of the occult, if it meant they got to watch Marilyn Chambers having sex. This was back when the porn industry was in effect cross-subsidizing the avant-garde film community, thus demonstrating its redeeming artistic merit and staying—sometimes—on the tolerant side of the law. In this case, the results were memorably strange: Chambers’ picture was based on a piece of folklore, but—as with the street poem that inspired another classic of lowbrow ’70s surrealism, Dolemite—it wasn’t the sort of folktale that ordinarily appeared on a movie screen.

Before that career-defining role, Chambers was best known as the model on the Ivory Snow soap box (advertised as “99 & 44/100 percent pure”). She went on to appear in David Cronenberg’s cult horror picture Rabid and a host of X-rated movies, and in 2004 she ran for vice president on the Personal Choice ticket, a spinoff of sorts from the Libertarian Party. She was later involved in the Boston Tea Party, another Libertarian offshoot, and in some states she served last year as the BTP’s vice-presidential candidate.

This past weekend she died of causes unknown, a week shy of her 57th birthday. She was, in her way, one of the cultural icons of 1970s America, and I hope she rests in peace.

Marilyn Chambers (born Marilyn Ann Briggs, April 22, 1952, in Providence, Rhode Island, U.S.) is a former American pornographic actress and stripteaser perhaps best known for her 1972 hardcore debut Behind the Green Door.

Early life

According to John Hubner’s book Bottom Feeders, (1994), Chambers came from a middle-class household. Her father was in advertising and her mother was a nurse. She was the youngest of three children. Her father tried to discourage her from pursuing a modeling career, citing brutal competition. Chambers landed some modeling gigs and a small role in the Barbra Streisand starred The Owl and the Pussycat (1970), where she was credited as “Evelyn Lang”. Her parents were not impressed, so she moved to Los Angeles for more work. But she didn’t get any roles, except for a low-budget film Together (1971), in which she appeared nude. Depressed, she left Los Angeles for San Francisco where she held several jobs, including work as a topless model and a bottomless dancer. She also married a hippie named Doug (whose surname she did not provide to writer-researcher John Hubner).

Adult film career

Marilyn Chambers - Ivory Snow BoxChambers happened to see an advertisement for a casting call, and rushed to the audition only to find out that it was for a porno film. She was about to leave when the Mitchell brothers stopped her, because of her resemblance to Cybill Shepherd, and feeling that a wholesome blond actress was needed for their film. (At this point, they did not realize that she was the “cover girl” on the Ivory Snow soap box; she posed as the woman holding the baby. According to some urban legends, Chambers was the baby; this turned out to be false, as was the claim that the baby was Brooke Shields). The product’s manufacturer, Procter & Gamble quickly dropped her after discovering her double life as an adult film actress. Chambers, who was initially ambivalent about starring in Behind the Green Door, asked the Mitchell brothers, Artie and Jim, for a $25,000 salary and a percentage of the gross, never expecting that they would agree. After filming concluded, she dropped the Ivory Snow bombshell, which resulted in her being billed as the “99 and 44/100% pure” girl.

Marilyn Chambers - Behind the Green DoorIn the film, Chambers had sex with the well-endowed African-American actor Johnny Keyes. She also fainted at the end of one scene lasting over 45 minutes. The porno industry and viewing public were shocked by the then-taboo spectacle of a white woman having sex with a black man. (Chambers’ parents refused to talk to her for several years after the film’s release, but eventually reconciled with her). In subsequent porno films with John Holmes, who was noted for his extremely large penis, Chambers “talked dirty” to him off-camera to give him an erection. Eventually, mainstream films noticed Chambers, who in 1977, nabbed a major role in David Cronenberg’s Rabid. However, her adult film career made Hollywood studios nervous, and hence she was unable to transition to mainstream films.

She was noted for her enthusiastic performances of deep throat, anal, lesbian, interracial, extreme bukkake, and double or triple penetration scenes. She was one of the first female stars to shave her pubic hair, a practice now routine for porn actresses. Chambers continues to appear in porn films for such companies as Naughty America and MILF Hunter. Later in her career, she had a series of breast augmentations raising her from a B-cup to at least a D. She is reputedly one of the first porn actresses to have her genitals pierced.

Her first marriage ended after the release of Behind the Green Door. During her 1975-1985 marriage to porn producer/director/manager Chuck Traynor, Chambers continued in both mainstream and porn films. After that marriage ended, Chambers married for the third time to truck driver Tom Taylor. She gave birth to their daughter, McKenna Marie Taylor, in 1991, before that marriage also ended in divorce. Chambers has admitted to writer John Hubner and other interviewers that she has battled drug and alcohol addiction in the past.

Marilyn Chambers RecentIn recent years, Chambers has appeared primarily in independent films, claiming that their more laid back pace suits her as “there’s a lot less pressure on you to perform (and) you don’t have to be young and skinny.”

Other work

* Marilyn Chambers also had some chart success with the Disco single “Benihana” in 1976, produced by Michael Zager on the Roulette Records label. In the 2004 United States presidential election, Marilyn Chambers ran for Vice President on the Personal Choice Party ticket, a quasi-libertarian party. She received a total of 946 votes.

Fictional portrayals

* In 2000, Tracy Hutson played Chambers in the made-for-cable biopic about the Mitchell Brothers, Rated X.

An Interview With Celeste

1 03 2008

Celeste - Suze Randall
I was able to make contact with Celeste through messages that she left on a post I did about her back in October of 2007. She sent me her email address and we quickly corresponded. I was surprised to learn that Celeste is now the proud mother of four and is living a quiet lifestyle with her husband and children in Nevada. Celeste is so sweet and I really appreciate her taking the time to answer my questions.

Celeste also sent me pictures of her most recent wedding to prove her identity and I can say that there is no question that the pictures are authentic and were taken after she left the adult business. I have not posted the pictures only because she did not explicitly say it was OK to do so. I have sent a follow up message asking her if she minds if I post one of the pictures.

Let me just say that Celeste is still just as gorgeous 10 years later. She has not aged at all, although she appears more wholesome than the sex vixen we all fell in love with back in the 90’s.

With that said, here is the interview:

NW: Where and when were you born?
Celeste: I was born in Stillwater, MN. May 3, 1972

NW: Where did you grow up?
Celeste: I grew up in beautiful Stillwater, MN.

NW: Describe your early childhood. What was your family like? Did you have any siblings? Would you consider your childhood normal? What were your interests, activities or hobbies?
Celeste: I was pretty shy and quiet as a child. I loved playing with my Barbies and pretending to be a schoolteacher. In the summer, you would find me swimming every day. In the winter, I liked ice-skating, sledding, and ice fishing with my dad. When asked what my favorite color was, I would pick some obscure one that no one else liked because I felt bad for it (the color). When I was in elementary school, I would walk to the local Lutheran church to take communion classes completely on my own. I was always trying to connect with God and understand him. I have two older brothers (my parents each had a son before they got married and had me). I was always begging my brother to play games and trying to hang out with him and his friends, a typical pest of a little sister. My parents did the best that they could when I was growing up.

NW: Was your family religious? If so what religion … what denomination?
Celeste: My family was Lutheran and when I was in about fifth grade, I started going to a Baptist church, joining the youth group. I share this because the combination of being violated and religion caused a great deal of shame and guilt for me. I have always been a seeker and searched to feed my soul .

Vivid Girl CelesteNW: What was your first sexual encounter? Who was it with? How did you feel about your first sexual encounter?
Celeste: Like some of the other girls in the business, there was an adult who violated my innocence at a pretty young age. I think when that happens, you either go frigid or experimental. We all know which way I choose, but I’m thankful that I didn’t allow that person to cause me to become uncomfortable with further sexual encounters.

NW: How old were you when you lost your virginity? Who was it with? Where did it happen?
Celeste: I lost my virginity in junior high to a guy who sang “Stairway to Heaven” for the talent show. It was in a tent and lasted for about two minutes… not very exciting, to say the least. Afterward, we were shown a ”Why Wait” video in school. The visual aid they showed explained that each time you are with a person, you give a piece of your heart away. If a person did this enough, by the time they got married, they’d have nothing left to give. This stuck in my mind and haunted me. Probably because I was young, I rebelled against all of these rules, which I felt I could never live up to (I tend to be a perfectionist)

NW: Where did you go to high school and did you graduate? Did you go to college? Where? Did you graduate? You don’t have to be specific if you don’t want to.
Celeste: My mom started attending a non-denominational church at which point I was put into a private hell – I mean high school – with a “huge” graduating class of three. I went to UMD to study nursing and minored in dance. I wanted to teach dance therapy to challenged children.

NW: What were some of the jobs you held during or after high school or early adulthood? Before entering the adult business.
Celeste: I started babysitting mentally and physically challenged children when I was in fifth grade. By the time I was fourteen, I was working for the state with families who kept their children in the home instead of assisted care facilities. The children I took care of were the highlight of my own childhood. There is nothing better then watching a child achieve a new skill they worked so hard toward. I also had a close bond with some of the families, which was very healing for me.

NW: Were you ever a dancer? If so, Where?
Celeste: Around my second year of college, a friend dared me to enter a strip contest at Déjà Vu. When I experienced how much money I could earn from dancing (which I love to do anyway), I thought I’d be a fool not to do it. When my parents found out, they were not pleased with my choice of profession and I subsequently moved into my own apartment.

NW: How did you first become involved in the adult film business?
Celeste: I think that it was just a couple of months of working at the club when the owners asked a couple of other girls and I to go to Vegas to sign magazines at a booth (which was weird because I wasn’t even in the magazine!)

NW: Early in your career you performed mostly with Woody Long. How did you meet Woody?
Celeste: That’s when I met Woody. We hung out, exchanged contact info, and shortly after that, I packed up and flew to California where Woody picked me up at the airport.

Celeste - Suze Randall ShootNW: Describe the experience of your first porn scene.
Celeste: My first porn experience was really strange. I had only seen a couple of movies before and really didn’t know what to expect. I remember that they wanted me to say the word “pussy” and I about died! I wasn’t used to speaking like that (“Tabasco on the tongue language” at our house!). The scene was with Woody and that’s about all I can recall. I do know that when Woody and I went home, I told him that I needed to see who performed the most rocking scenes and wanted to learn by watching some of them. It took me a while to really become comfortable in front of the camera, but I had fun learning.

NW: Describe your relationship with Woody. When did you split with him? I guess you know that Woody died in 2002 after having a stroke. How did that make you feel? Were you still in contact with Woody at all during that time?
Celeste: I was with Woody for a year before we married and we were only married up until I did “Borderline.” We were not in touch when he died. I found out after the fact from Dyanna. I cried when I found out because, in my opinion, he truly felt alone in the world and was very self-destructive.

NW: After Woody Long your next serious relationship was with Paul Norman. Did you ever marry Paul? Describe your relationship with him.
Celeste: I never married Paul Norman and we didn’t have a long relationship. We tried to work at being friends because I was pregnant. He doesn’t see the child and we went through a horrific nightmare of a mud-slinging court case for a year or so, which resulted in his parental rights being terminated. I married an E.R. doctor when my son was about one and we had two more children (I love having children). We filed for divorce in 2004.

I can sum up all three relationships like this:

They were unhealthy, dysfunctional, and at times cruel. I also want to take 100% responsibility for the good and the bad in all those relationships. I had to work through my own personal issues and unfortunately, when the people you are with need to do the same thing, everyone’s issues sort of explode at the same time. You can’t figure out where the problems begin and end. I also know that I tried really hard to make things work in my last marriage, which was a catalyst to really awesome but difficult period of self -discovery. I am aware that when you play the role of a victim in life or relationships, you lose all of the power to truly create something wonderful for yourself.

NW: Besides Long and Norman, did you date or have any sexual encounters or relationships with any other adult industry insiders off camera?
Celeste: I did have a brief relationship with someone else in the business; however, without their permission I do not want to kiss and tell

Celeste - BedlamNW: Your appearance changed dramatically midway through your career. You went from a very pretty girl to smokin’ hot. Did you have any work done?
Celeste: Yes I had a nose and a boob job.

NW: You also lost a lot of weight from your earlier days in the business, not that you were heavy early in your career. Were you pressured to slim down? How did you loose the weight?
Celeste: I was asked how I changed my body. I learned my way around the gym and worked out for a couple hours a day. I also started dancing more and riding my bike. I was living across the street from the ocean and loved riding on the path, which is something I miss about Southern California). I don’t regret the surgery at all (I love big boobs) and didn’t feel any pressure (other than that I wouldn’t have been on a box cover had I not gotten the surgery!)

NW: You were one of the biggest stars of the 90’s. I’m going to throw out some names of actors and actresses you performed with and I want you to give me your impression of them. Asia Carrera, Dyanna Lauren, Felecia, Jenna Jameson, Peter North, Rocco Siffredi, Steven St. Croix.
Celeste and Rocco Celeste: My impressions of some of the other actors are as follows:

Asia: Smart.

Dyanna Lauren: My best friend and soul mate; beautiful inside and out!

Felecia: Sweet (we met dancing in the Star Strip in LA.).

Jenna: Good for her! I love success stories.

Peter North: hair and cum.

Rocco: hot, sexy, passionate.

Steven St Croix: great to be around and funny.

NW: You performed some anal sex scenes earlier in your career mostly with Woody. Did you ever perform double penetration?
Celeste: I have never done a DP and anals made me nervous on screen just because all horror stories of the nasty things happening when filming them.

NW: One thing I notice about your sexual performances is that you never had a problem taking a huge facial and just sucking and licking up the mess. With a face as beautiful as yours you gave us some of the most memorable facials ever. Where did you learn to do that? Do you have a cum fetish or were you just playing to the camera.
Celeste:Yes!! Busted! I do have a cum fetish and most of my fantasies have to do with lots of it!

NW: What is the most men you have ever been with at one time? Was it on or off camera? What was the experience like?
Celeste: The most men I have been with at a time was two and it was on camera. I loved it! I had a great time in the scene and it was with Rocco and Mark Davis. I think it’s a hot scene.

Celeste VividNW: You have performed with several women on camera. Do you consider yourself to be truly bi-sexual or was it something you just did for the camera? Have you had many lesbian experiences in your personal life?
Celeste: I don’t consider myself bi or gay or straight, I consider myself “sexual” and when a sexy soul comes along, I don’t care as long as there is a connection!

NW: Were you a Vivid contract girl? If so how much was your contract with Vivid worth on a yearly basis? How many years were you with Vivid? What did the contract require? Did you make more money performing free-lance or being a contract girl? Which did you prefer? Were you ever signed with any other companies?
Celeste: Yes, I was a Vivid girl. I don’t recall how much my contract was worth. I was only with Vivid for a year or so and I loved working for them. It is a great company and they treat you awesome. I never had a contract with another company. I enjoyed working for Vivid and Wicked the most. I made the majority of my money feature dancing. Dancing was like a reward for being in all the movies and magazines and it was great to travel and interact with my fans.

Celeste - BorderlineNW: In 1996, you appeared in Borderline which at the time was the most expensive adult film ever made. Was the budget something that ballooned unexpectedly or did Vivid plan on making the movie that expensive? What was the experience like during filming.
Celeste: “Borderline” was expensive, but I don’t know how much the budget was; however, it was partly because there was so much talent hired for the scenes. Personally, I was not in a great place at the time with Woody and I splitting up. He took off with over a $100,000 worth of equipment that I’d bought for my dance show and used it for another feature dancer. I also surrounded myself with people who didn’t bring out the best in me and I made a lot of really self-destructive choices. I still enjoyed filming the movie. It was a great story and I still like watching it!

NW: After Borderline you walked away from the adult business. During that time you were with Paul Norman and got pregnant. Was your pregnancy the only reason you left the adult business? Were there any other factors? How long did you stay with Paul Norman after leaving the adult business?
Celeste: I got pregnant very soon after filming “Borderline” and had always planned to go back to work for Vivid. I changed my mind when I was getting ready to make another movie when I realized that there was more to consider than myself. I started really thinking, “What if I got AIDS and died?” There would be no one to care for my son.

NW: Did you immediately move away from California after you retired or did you stay there for a while? Where did you move to?
Celeste: After I decided to not be in the business, I did go back and live with my parents in Minnesota.

NW: Did you work at all after retiring? Did you feature dance any? Hold any other jobs? Do you work now?
Celeste: I worked again with challenged children and adults providing home health care and I also taught pre-school.

NW: Celeste: Are you currently married or seeing anyone? If so when did you get married?
Celeste: I met my current husband through my ex-husband. We have known each other as friends for eight years and have been together for four. We have one child together. I am so grateful for him and we are perfect for one another. I finally found my own personal Rocco. He is very supportive of me and a brilliant man. We are on this journey together!

Celeste 3NW: Do you ever regret that you left the adult industry when you did? I mean you were at the top when you left. Or do you regret that you ever did porn?
Celeste: I don’t regret leaving the industry when I did. I have regretted being in the industry at times, partly from the guilt I felt from religion and also because of people who have come along and tried to hurt my family (particularly my children) by using my past against me. I am now very proud of what I did and have had a lot of positive feedback from all my wonderful fans.

NW: You posted on IMDb that you are still a very sexual person. Describe your views on sexuality.
Celeste: I have been out of the business for twelve years and I know that some people would like to place the scarlet letters “P.S”. for “PORN STAR” on my head. If that makes them feel better, then that’s their choice. I have chosen a controversial business to be a part of and there are consequences for that. I do believe in the power of sexual energy and the good and spiritual life force that surrounds it. It is a gift to us as humans. We should try to lose all the rights and wrongs, the guilt and the shame, anger, and insecurities that we have attached to our ideas about sex and just take a minute to stop and breathe in what a magical experience it is to connect with ourselves and with others in such a beautiful way.

NW: Feel free to discuss anything that I forgot to ask or left out. Anything that you would like to add?
Celeste: I would like to share something from a book I just read. It describes so perfectly how I feel about my past now that my present is so rich and I am at peace with myself:

There were two Zen monks, Tanzan and Ekido, who were walking along a country road which had become extremely muddy after heavy rains. Near a village, they came upon a young woman who was trying to cross the road, but the mud was so deep it would have ruined the silk komono she was wearing. Tanzan at once picked her up and carried her to the other side. The monks walked in silence. Five hours later, as they were approaching the lodging temple, Ekido couldn’t restrain himself any longer. ”Why did you carry that girl across the road?” he asked. “We monks are not supposed to do things like that.” ”I put the girl down hours ago,” said Tanzan. “Are you still carrying her?”

Amber Lynn, Still Occasionally Performes At 44

21 02 2008

Amber LynnAmber Lynn (born Laura Allen on September 3, 1963, in Newport Beach, California, U.S.) is an American porn star and exotic dancer.

Amber Lynn was born and raised in southern California. her brother later gained fame in the adult industry as Buck Adams. As a teenager, she got involved in the club scene in Los Angeles, where she met Althea Flynt, wife of Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt. Before long, Lynn was posing for layouts in Hustler as well as other “men’s magazines” such as Penthouse. She entered the adult film industry in 1983, after her friend Ginger Lynn Allen (aka Ginger Lynn) did the same. The two friends, along with Porsche Lynn, became known as the “three Lynns” and were among the most successful female porn stars of the 1980s.

Lynn’s on-screen sexual exploits included primarily vaginal intercourse and oral sex, as well as lesbian scenes. She starred in several movies with exceptionally well endowed men, and did a few scenes involving double vaginal penetration. In her early career, she did not do anal sex. She got her older brother (porn actor Buck Adams) into the porn industry, and the two kept the fact that they were siblings hidden until they were scheduled to perform a scene together, at which point they confessed.

Although Lynn was not directly affected by the Traci Lords underage-porn scandal in 1986, the episode shook her confidence in the business. She had also been deeply hurt by the 1984 suicide of friend Shauna Grant, and left adult films.Amber Lynn Recent

She began dancing and making personal appearances in Canada with adult film actress Tracey Adams, with whom she was involved at the time in a lesbian relationship. She soon decided that she preferred “live entertainment” to filmmaking.

After a few years, however, the number of porn stars on the dancing circuit exploded, reducing the amount of money any could earn for each appearance. Lynn moved back to Los Angeles and returned to posing for magazines.

She returned to adult films in the mid-1990s, but was unable to regain her earlier level of success. Several of her roles were lesbian scenes or non-sexual parts. By 1999, her struggles with drug abuse and alcoholism had severely damaged both her personal life and her career. She and Adams had ended their long-term relationship, and Lynn dropped out of the business again to clean herself up.

While in her early porn career Lynn refrained from breast enlargement surgery. However, by the time she returned to porn in the 1990s, her modest B-cup breasts had been enhanced to at least a DD.

Soon after her second retirement, reportedly in need of money, she began making films again. Some of these films were more extreme than those that she had done earlier in her career, including scenes containing interracial and anal sex (which she had previously refused to do) and extreme lesbian bondage (including spanking and abuse). She still appears in films from time to time, but her involvement is usually limited to one sex scene.

She has worked for Naughty America in movies such as My Friend’s Hot Mom and My First Sex Teacher, as well as other MILF movies.

Where is Lolo Ferrari? Dead… Intentional Overdose or Murder?

10 01 2008

Lolo FerrariLolo Ferrari, born Eve Valois (March 4, 1962 – March 5, 2000) was a French dancer and actress billed as “the woman with the largest breasts in the world”, though their size was artificially achieved.

Born in Clermont-Ferrand, Puy-de-Dôme, France, she was raised in the resort town of La Baule in an intellectual but extremely dysfunctional family. When she was a child, her father was relocated causing the move to La Baule. Her mother abused little Eve constantly, saying she was no good and that no man would want her, even going as far to whip Eve after her husband left her and her children. As a teenager, she obtained a few modelling jobs. In 1988, she married Eric Vigne, a man 14 years older.

Encouraged by her husband, Ferrari underwent numerous plastic surgery operations to create a 180-cm (71-inch) silicone-enhanced bust (22 enlargements, a Guinness world record). The Guinness Book of Records says each of her breasts weighed 2.8 kg (6 lb 2 oz) and contained three litres of serum. She had to wear a specially engineered brassiere, and as a result of her many surgeries she suffered from a number of medical afflictions and lived with a heavy regimen of drugs.  Her brassiere measurements have been given by various sources as 58F, 54G, and 54J.

The question of whether Ferrari had the largest surgically enhanced breasts in the world was hotly debated. Adult film stars such as Chelsea Charms, Maxi Mounds and Minka have been reported with even larger surgically enhanced busts, which they gained through the use of string implants. Ferrari remains to this date the woman with the largest bust enhanced with standard silicone implants.

Procedures had by Ferrari were said to have included:

* 6 rhinoplasties
* 4 surgeries on her mouth
* Silicone injections to her forehead
* Silicone injections to both cheeks
* Silicone injections to the mouth
* 10–15 breast augmentations (implants)

Adopting the stage name “Lolo”, from a French slang word for breasts, along with “Ferrari” as a last name, she made a few pornographic films. Use of the Ferrari name (which she justified since it was her maternal grandfather’s name) led to lengthy trademark infringement court battles with the Italian Ferrari automobile company when she tried to market a line of underwear called Ferrari Underwear and a Lolo Ferrari doll. In 1995, she caused a sensation at the Cannes Film Festival with the presentation of the movie Camping Cosmos by Jan Bucquoy and producer Francis De Smet during a boxmatch.
Lolo Ferrari before the poster of Mother Courage and Her Children in the summer of 1995 during the making of the movie Camping Cosmos.  Ferrari used the publicity surrounding her appearance to obtain a regular role on the British Channel 4 television show Eurotrash. Ironically, when Channel 4 broadcast Miss Valois’s obituary, it was transmitted with straight dubbing as a mark of respect. The media hype led to appearances on other European shows and work in cabaret shows doing a song and striptease act. Hoping to launch a pop music career, she recorded two singles, titled “Airbag Generation” and “Set Me Free”, as well as two more singles, a Euro disco cabaret song called “Dance Dance Dance”, and a cover of Thelma Houston’s Euro disco hit, “Don’t Leave Me This Way”. Neither song was given a commercial release. However, Ferrari retained a cult-like following.

On the morning of March 5, 2000, the day following her 38th birthday, Ferrari was found dead at her home in Grasse in the Alpes-Maritimes département on the French Riviera, apparently the victim of a self-induced prescription drug overdose. According to statements made by Eric Vigne, her husband, who had found her body, she had been planning her own funeral, and a few days before her death had visited an undertaker and picked out a white coffin, saying she wished to be buried in a pink ballroom gown, with her favourite white teddy bear.[citation needed]

Shortly before her death, Ferrari is said to have expressed interest in having her implants removed. She had also taken a lover, a Monaco police officer. Eric hired and paid for two girls named Audrey and Karine Jablecki to have silicone implants to extremely large sizes, dubbing them The Silicone Girls. They were to be Ferrari’s backup singers, but ultimately replaced her.

Vigne was later arrested owing to new evidence and apparent inconsistencies in his version of the events leading up to her death. For instance, the drugs in her stomach had not begun to enter her bloodstream, and her body showed signs of mechanically induced suffocation. Vigne stated that Ferrari had possibly rolled over while she was sleeping, causing her to be suffocated by her large breasts. This was not likely, however, as Lolo was purported to be a careful sleeper, even when under the influence of the multiple sleeping pills and anti-depressants she took.

Vigne spent more than a year in prison before being released. Ferrari’s mother, Catherine Valois, has been pressuring authorities to officially charge Vigne for the alleged murder. As of August 2007, no legal action has been taken.
