26 01 2008

Tiffany TowersTiffany Towers (born on December 19, 1971, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian erotic actress and model. Towers is noted for her large augmented breasts.

After making many magazine appearances and a few pornographic film appearances with Seymore Butts and others, Towers retired from active modeling in the early-2000s.

She has resurfaced from time to time and works as a dancer in a Toronto strip club, the Zanzibar on Yonge Street. She has also had breast reduction surgery. In 2005 Tiffany returned to adult films in the AVN Award-winner Faster Pussycat Fuck! Fuck!, co-starring Summer Cummings, Elizabeth Starr, Ron Jeremy and Daphne Rosen.

Like most similar big bust stars, her stated measurements (both with implants and without) should not be taken as completely truthful.

Tiffany volunteers at a local animal shelter in much of her spare time and has an extensive collection of Red Wine.

She maintains a page and blog at http://www.myspace.com/therealtiffanytowers.Tiffany Towers Recent

Tiffany was mentioned in the 1997 David Fincher film, The Game. Towards the end, while Michael Douglas hides in James Rebhorn’s car, Rebhorn says of a security guard: “He’s eyeing us like Tiffany Towers.”

The Michelle Maren Interview

13 01 2008

Michelle Maren as Miss Big AppleMichelle Maren is a former New York City beauty queen and dancer turned adult film star. Michelle only appeared in a handful of films in the early 80’s. Her most notable films are Flash Pants, a take on the popular mainstream film and TV show Flashdance, and Throat: 12 Years After a sequel to the legendary porn film Deep Throat. Michelle left the adult entertainment industry after only a few years and eventually graduated college with a degree in Communications and has spent time working in mainstream television production. She is now a 46-year-old devout Catholic, living in New Jersey.

At the request of a reader, I did some checking on Michelle and discovered her MySpace page. Michelle later found the messages about her on this site and posted a response. After Michelle’s response, I contacted her through her MySpace and she agreed to do an interview. Below is the Q&A between Michelle and myself. Please keep in mind that the questions were emailed to Michelle and her responses were emailed back. At times some of the questions may sound stupid and irrelevant given some of Michelle’s answers, obviously the questioning would have been a little different if it were a live face-to-face interview.

Big thanks to Michelle for being so willing to do the interview. I appreciate her openness and honesty. There are so many women who get involved in adult entertainment who end up dead or screwed up. She definitely has her head on straight and has turned her life around for the best. I want to wish her happiness in all that she does because she is truly a class act.

NW: Where were you born? Where did you grow up?

MM: I was born and raised in Scotch Plains, NJ.

NW: Did you have any siblings?

MM: I am the only child of my father and mother, but have four half-brothers and sisters and one half-brother who is adopted.

NW: Describe your early childhood and family life.

MM: My family was extremely dysfunctional. I was abused both emotionally and physically. The worst thing was being isolated from others. It was a very lonely childhood.

NW: Where did you go to school?

MM: I went to public school until the ninth grade. Then I attended an all-girls Catholic high school.

NW: What was your earliest sexual encounter?

MM: Because I was so desperate to be loved by ANYBODY—I fell madly in love with the first man who offered me the smallest crumb of attention. He was a social worker at Covenant House in NYC—the place that was taking care of me when I left home. He was twenty-nine and waited until my eighteenth birthday to de-flower me.

NW: Did you go to college?

MM: Yes, I graduated at the age of forty with a 4.0 GPA. I am very proud of that because I worked so hard to earn it.Michelle Maren Miss Big Apple Swimsuit

NW: Were you involved in a lot of beauty pageants?

MM: I was a contestant in the Miss New York City pageant, but didn’t make the finals. Then I won Miss Chelsea and Miss Big Apple.

NW: What year did you win Ms. Big Apple?

MM: My “reign” was 1981-82.

NW: How was the experience of winning that particular pageant?

MM: During the finals, as I was standing onstage at Town Hall lined up with my fellow contestants garbed in identical green one-piece bathing suits, I realized that my body was being compared to the other girls’. Suddenly, I felt like a head of cattle. I needed to be validated because of my non-existent self-esteem. I needed someone to tell me that I was worthwhile and beautiful. Mistakenly, I thought that winning a beauty contest would fulfill that need. However, obtaining the title of Miss Big Apple did afford me the opportunity of appearing on several local TV programs and making various public appearances in the New York City area.

NW: IMDb says that you were a singer/dancer that often opened for Tiny Tim, were you a good friend of Tim’s? If so what are your memories of him?

I was one of Tiny’s opening acts. He was a very kind man who was anything but “tiny.” I remember him towering over me and looking down with his very pretty blue eyes. He was extremely generous to newcomers–giving anyone a chance to perform. Tiny was always a gentleman.

NW: What type of music did you sing or were you primarily a dancer?

MM: I liked to sing standards—Gershwin, Arlen, Berlin, Porter, etc. When I sang in Japanese clubs, I learned many songs in Japanese. As a dancer, I did routines to Pop and Broadway tunes.

NW: Did you ever record an album?

No, I never had any interest in recording.

NW: How did you become involved in the adult industry? What factors in your life up to that point do you now see as contributing to your decision to become an adult actress?

I started out as a go-go dancer and eventually began posing in men’s magazines, which led to films. My first was FLASH PANTS. I was the “Flash Dancer” and I posed for the film’s poster and video box cover.

Over the years of working in the sex industry—not only in films, but also as a men’s magazine model and go-go dancer—I met literally hundreds of other young women doing the same. I can tell you with all certainty that women who work in the sex industry are wounded spirits, as was I. We all came from family backgrounds of abuse and/or neglect. We did not value ourselves because we were not valued as children.

NW: Were you a fan of adult films before you joined the adult industry?

MM: I was a fan of adult films neither before nor after my experience.

NW: How many adult films did you appear in?

MM: I performed in five films and worked behind-the-scenes in one—DRILLER. Joyce James had written the female lead for me, but by the time it was made I had decided to leave the business. The actress who played the part needed to have her lines looped (dubbed over). So Joyce asked me to do it.

NW: Which of your adult film roles is your favorite? Michelle Maren Flash Pants Box Cover

MM: I do not favor any of them. I am speaking from both my experience and my heart when I say that the adult film industry is a very dark scene. When I first started out in the business, a director told me that the adult film industry is made up of people who all initially wanted to work in “legitimate” fields. Whether they are actors, directors, or writers—none of them started out saying to themselves, “My goal is to work in porn.” Compared to the straight film industry, the porn business is very easy to get into. You have to possess only mediocre talents to get quite a bit of work.

NW: Do you have any fond memories of making adult films?

MM: The adult film industry is very seductive to a young woman lacking self-esteem. On a film set, she is told that she is pretty and there is a make-up artist, cinematographer, director, and even a script—everything that you would find on a regular movie set. During the filming of THROAT: 12 YEARS AFTER, I remember thinking, “This would be really fun, if only I didn’t have to have sex on camera.” That’s where the low self-esteem comes into play. Any woman with a firm sense of self-worth would never do such a thing. I can tell you with all sincerity that when a woman sells her body, it robs her of a piece of her soul.Michelle Maren Throat 12 Years After

NW: You mentioned that you only appeared in one boy/girl scene, what was the movie?, who was the actor, and how was your experience during the filming that scene? Did you enjoy it? was it a bad experience?

MM: Actually, I was in two boy/girl scenes in one film—THROAT: 12 YEARS AFTER. The first was with Eric Edwards—a porn veteran. The second was with George Payne who was very popular at the time. I remember trying so very hard to give a real performance. Both Eric and George were very kind but, no, I did not enjoy it. It is a fantasy that the women performing porn actually enjoy it. No one does. That is why most get high before filming a sex scene—to numb themselves. I was the only female porn actress I knew who didn’t get high and that is why I didn’t last in the industry for very long. I know this may not be what you want to hear, but I am speaking the truth. And the sex industry feeds off of lies—lies about what sex should be, lies about male-female relationships, lies about what women enjoy, lies about sexuality… Please believe me—the sex industry lies.

NW: Most of your scenes were either non-sex roles or with women. Do you or did you prefer women in your personal life or were the scenes something that you tried out of curiosity? Or for money?

MM: I am not now, nor was I ever, a lesbian. I had one girl/girl scene in PUBLIC AFFAIRS with Annette Heinz and I started to cry in the middle of it. The director had to cut and wait until I calmed myself to start filming again. I felt terrible because Annette thought I was crying because of something to do with her. I tried to assure her that it did not have anything to do with her. I simply did not want to be there.

Most women who come from a highly dysfunctional childhood find it difficult to function in mainstream society in a regular nine-to-five job. That is why I continued to work in porn even after I decided not to have sex on camera anymore. I thought, “Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad as long as I don’t have sex on camera.” But I was wrong. It was still an extremely negative environment, regardless of my level of participation.

NW: What was the average pay for a porn girl back then?

MM: As I recall, I was paid $1500 for THROAT: 12 YEARS AFTER for three days work. I believe “West Coast Girls” were paid more.

NW: You appeared in the film Shauna Every Man’s Fantasy w/ Shauna Grant, did you actually get to meet Shauna? If so what are your memories of her? Was she troubled? Did she show signs of the bad things that eventually happened to her?

MM: I never met Shauna. When I started working in the industry, Shauna had already quit. In addition to performing in films and posing in magazines, I also wrote articles. I was assigned to write an article about Shauna’s life. She was scheduled to start filming a “comeback” film the day after she shot herself. At the same time, her boyfriend (who was in prison for dealing drugs) told her to move out of his house. I think she felt lost and hopeless and the thought of going back to porn was too much. Yes, Shauna was troubled, as are all women who perform in adult films. The number of suicides, over-doses, murders and AIDS-related deaths are quite high among porn actors.

NW: You also appeared in the film Public Affairs along side porn legend Annette Haven. What was it like working with Annette? What are your memories of her?Public Affairs

MM: I have never seen this film, but I don’t believe that I had any scenes with Annette Haven. I only remember the scene with Annette Heinz, which I have already described.

NW: What is the wildest or craziest memory or experience you have thinking back to your time in the adult business?

MM: When I was working on PUBLIC AFFAIRS, they were supposed to feed the actors. For lunch, a couple of crewmembers dragged in a large black garbage bag filled with some sort of stew. The garbage bag burst open and huge amounts of brown sludge-like stew flowed throughout the studio. This incident showed me how the filmmakers regarded the actors—we were befitting of eating garbage.

In FLASH PANTS, there was a girl appearing in the film who was underage. Yet it was legal for her to perform because her mother was on the set and signed the release forms. I remember the mother brought homemade macaroni salad for the cast and crew.

In the same film, there was a young woman who was covered with bruises. I asked the make-up artist about her, and was told, “Oh yeah, her boyfriend beats her.” No one did anything about it. Her bruises are clearly visible in the film.

Getting the shot is the most important thing. It doesn’t matter if the woman is high or battered or even underage—as long as you get that shot.

NW: Why did you decide to quit making adult movies?

MM: My conscience told me that it was the wrong thing to do.

NW: Do you regret your decision to appear in adult movies?

MM: I am grateful that I got out when I did.

NW: If you could give a bit of advice to girls who are thinking of getting involved in adult entertainment or are already involved in the industry what would it be?

MM: If asked for my advice, I would say to a women who is attracted to any aspect of the sex industry that she would benefit from a close inspection of herself. The sex industry is a world of loneliness and lies, of emptiness and coldness, of hurting human beings who pretend that they don’t feel the agony. It is a slow suicide—a suicide of shame. Fulfillment cannot be found in the sex industry. It will only pull you lower into the pit of darkness. Value yourself and live in the light.

NW: You mentioned that you have some porn actresses on your MySpace friends list. Do you keep in touch with any of the porn people from your time in the industry or are these people that you met after you left the business?

MM: I always thought that porn actors are good people. Through MySpace, I recently re-connected with Ron Jeremy, with whom I never worked, but met at a film premiere. The women from my day have either moved on to other things or, sadly, have passed away. There are some women on my page who are currently working in the industry, but I do not preach to them. I try to live by example. But if anyone asks me questions regarding my faith, I am more than happy to answer.

NW: Do you still watch adult films?

MM: I was never interested in watching adult films.

NW: Do you consider adult films immoral?

MM: I believe adult films are extremely immoral because they promote the objectification of women and the objectification of sex—which is a beautiful gift from God to be shared by a loving husband and wife. I choose to live a celibate life until I marry.

Michelle Maren RecentNW: Have you ever been married? If so, how many times and are you currently married now?

MM: I have never been married, although I came very close a few times. However, I haven’t given up hope that God will provide me with a wonderful husband.

NW: Do you have any children? If so, how many? how old are they? If not, then what has been behind your decision to not have children?

MM: I have never had any children. Though I love animals and consider my pets my children.

NW: Your faith is obviously a big part of your life these days. Did your faith play a part in your decision to quit appearing in adult films or was it something you became more serious about later in life?

MM: I was baptized at the age of thirty—many years after my decision to quit the adult film industry. Yet, I know that the Holy Spirit was always speaking to me and guiding me. Sometimes I just didn’t listen.

NW: Were you raised Catholic or did you convert later in life?

MM: Though I attended a Catholic high school, I was not Catholic. In my late twenties, I wanted to join a Christian church but was confused by all the different denominations. I prayed to God for guidance. Every weekend I visited a different denomination. When I arrived at a Catholic Church, it felt “right.” I took religious instruction and was baptized and confirmed in 1991. Now I try to live a life that’s pleasing to God. Through my faith my life has direction and purpose, which was previously lacking.

NW: Do you currently work? If so what do you do for a living? What other jobs have you held since leaving the porn business?

MM: Suffice it to say that I have a degree in Communications and have worked in television production.

NW: Where do you currently live? You do not need to be very specific on this question.

MM: After living in New York for many years, I moved back to New Jersey.

NW: What are your goals, dreams, aspirations?

MM: I would like to finish my autobiography, which I’ve been working on for ages. I would like to get it published and do public speaking engagements. Also, I would like to produce and host an uplifting Catholic variety show, much in the same vein as the old Jim and Tammy PTL Show.

Thank you for your interest in my life. I have tried my best to answer your questions honestly.–

Where is Lolo Ferrari? Dead… Intentional Overdose or Murder?

10 01 2008

Lolo FerrariLolo Ferrari, born Eve Valois (March 4, 1962 – March 5, 2000) was a French dancer and actress billed as “the woman with the largest breasts in the world”, though their size was artificially achieved.

Born in Clermont-Ferrand, Puy-de-Dôme, France, she was raised in the resort town of La Baule in an intellectual but extremely dysfunctional family. When she was a child, her father was relocated causing the move to La Baule. Her mother abused little Eve constantly, saying she was no good and that no man would want her, even going as far to whip Eve after her husband left her and her children. As a teenager, she obtained a few modelling jobs. In 1988, she married Eric Vigne, a man 14 years older.

Encouraged by her husband, Ferrari underwent numerous plastic surgery operations to create a 180-cm (71-inch) silicone-enhanced bust (22 enlargements, a Guinness world record). The Guinness Book of Records says each of her breasts weighed 2.8 kg (6 lb 2 oz) and contained three litres of serum. She had to wear a specially engineered brassiere, and as a result of her many surgeries she suffered from a number of medical afflictions and lived with a heavy regimen of drugs.  Her brassiere measurements have been given by various sources as 58F, 54G, and 54J.

The question of whether Ferrari had the largest surgically enhanced breasts in the world was hotly debated. Adult film stars such as Chelsea Charms, Maxi Mounds and Minka have been reported with even larger surgically enhanced busts, which they gained through the use of string implants. Ferrari remains to this date the woman with the largest bust enhanced with standard silicone implants.

Procedures had by Ferrari were said to have included:

* 6 rhinoplasties
* 4 surgeries on her mouth
* Silicone injections to her forehead
* Silicone injections to both cheeks
* Silicone injections to the mouth
* 10–15 breast augmentations (implants)

Adopting the stage name “Lolo”, from a French slang word for breasts, along with “Ferrari” as a last name, she made a few pornographic films. Use of the Ferrari name (which she justified since it was her maternal grandfather’s name) led to lengthy trademark infringement court battles with the Italian Ferrari automobile company when she tried to market a line of underwear called Ferrari Underwear and a Lolo Ferrari doll. In 1995, she caused a sensation at the Cannes Film Festival with the presentation of the movie Camping Cosmos by Jan Bucquoy and producer Francis De Smet during a boxmatch.
Lolo Ferrari before the poster of Mother Courage and Her Children in the summer of 1995 during the making of the movie Camping Cosmos.  Ferrari used the publicity surrounding her appearance to obtain a regular role on the British Channel 4 television show Eurotrash. Ironically, when Channel 4 broadcast Miss Valois’s obituary, it was transmitted with straight dubbing as a mark of respect. The media hype led to appearances on other European shows and work in cabaret shows doing a song and striptease act. Hoping to launch a pop music career, she recorded two singles, titled “Airbag Generation” and “Set Me Free”, as well as two more singles, a Euro disco cabaret song called “Dance Dance Dance”, and a cover of Thelma Houston’s Euro disco hit, “Don’t Leave Me This Way”. Neither song was given a commercial release. However, Ferrari retained a cult-like following.

On the morning of March 5, 2000, the day following her 38th birthday, Ferrari was found dead at her home in Grasse in the Alpes-Maritimes département on the French Riviera, apparently the victim of a self-induced prescription drug overdose. According to statements made by Eric Vigne, her husband, who had found her body, she had been planning her own funeral, and a few days before her death had visited an undertaker and picked out a white coffin, saying she wished to be buried in a pink ballroom gown, with her favourite white teddy bear.[citation needed]

Shortly before her death, Ferrari is said to have expressed interest in having her implants removed. She had also taken a lover, a Monaco police officer. Eric hired and paid for two girls named Audrey and Karine Jablecki to have silicone implants to extremely large sizes, dubbing them The Silicone Girls. They were to be Ferrari’s backup singers, but ultimately replaced her.

Vigne was later arrested owing to new evidence and apparent inconsistencies in his version of the events leading up to her death. For instance, the drugs in her stomach had not begun to enter her bloodstream, and her body showed signs of mechanically induced suffocation. Vigne stated that Ferrari had possibly rolled over while she was sleeping, causing her to be suffocated by her large breasts. This was not likely, however, as Lolo was purported to be a careful sleeper, even when under the influence of the multiple sleeping pills and anti-depressants she took.

Vigne spent more than a year in prison before being released. Ferrari’s mother, Catherine Valois, has been pressuring authorities to officially charge Vigne for the alleged murder. As of August 2007, no legal action has been taken.

Where is Lisa De Leeuw? Dead from AIDS???

10 01 2008

Lisa De LeeuwLisa Trego was born on 3 July 1959 in Moline, Illinois. She had an unremarkable childhood, describing herself as a “Midwestern farm-girl.” “I was a tomboy as a kid, played with the boys. Still do, only it’s different now. I think it was good for me growing up there. You had to develop your imagination, because there was nothing really to do.” She eventually lost her virginity just before her 16th birthday. “I was mad at my boyfriend at the time I lost my virginity, but his two best friends were available. They did me in the back seat of a Firebird for about three hours. They’d take turns driving and fucking me over the country roads, bumping and humping.”

Lisa admits she was not attractive as a teenager. “I was overweight and wore my hair like my mothers… when I dropped 40 pounds the whole picture changed… Before I lost the weight, all I had was enormous breasts, they were the only really attractive thing about me. Guys would stare at them, and when they got my top off they’d dive right onto my tits. It made me wish they weren’t so big.” By the time she was 17 Lisa had also experimented with women, but admits, “It was only one time”.

After finishing high school she began working for a used car dealer, while her boyfriend worked in the local adult movie theatre. It was through him that she first became introduced to pornography, but later remembered finding it un-arousing: “I wondered in one day to see what a porn film looked like and practically fell asleep in five minutes.” Her life soon changed though as “I got fired because I wouldn’t give backseat test drives.”

Lisa and her boyfriend decided to move to Los Angeles and start a new life. “I decided that I liked California and I wanted to stay here. It was a lot more expensive than living in Illinois, so I figured that I had to make big bucks quick and modelling sounded like a way to do it… I was eighteen at the time and I just turned nineteen when I started modelling… I started doing girlie modelling in August of 1978.” “I didn’t know it was going to be nude modelling, but my tits were so big they didn’t mind if I was still a little overweight. I was working everyday for a month; then there were so many sets of me at the magazines that I had to look elsewhere. Someone told me I could make good money in porno, so I did a loop… It was the first and only time that a partner had an accident and came inside me too soon. We had to wait a while and do it again… It made me feel good in a way, because the guy was experienced, and he came with me right away.”

According to Lisa, she and her boyfriend Doug “had talked about it before, and he said ‘Movies are fun, but I don’t want you to cheapen yourself by doing something sleazy in the backroom of some dingy hotel’”. Under the pseudonym Lisa De Leeuw, she began appearing in numerous hardcore Swedish Erotica loops. She later admitted: “I did come out [to California] with the intention of acting, but not in X-rated films. I’m sure nobody plans on that when they first come out here. It’s not one of those life long dreams – ‘Oh boy, I want to be a porno star’. I just hit LA, it was there, and I happened to fall into it.”

Although Lisa didn’t mind having sex in front of the camera, she remembered being quite inexperienced at the time. “I’d only started giving head a year before, so how was I to know that lip service was required when they would bark, “Get the guy up!’ Learning how to use garter belts was also a treat. I know even experienced performers who still occasionally will put the panties on under the garter belt, which makes for a good deal of unintentional comedy when you’re trying to remove them on camera.”

The following year Lisa starred in her first full-length movie, when film director Svetlana offered her a role in ‘800 Fantasy Lane’ (1979). Before filming began, however, she was told to lose weight, “Svetlana put me on a strict diet, no food, just vitamins.” This fight to keep her weight down was to continue throughout her career as a porn star. However, according to Lisa, the atmosphere on the set was terrible. “She’s [Svetlana] a tyrant… we worked twenty hour days. We were fed cold hot dogs and drank cold coffee… I worked with her in my third film, which was ‘Ultra Flesh’ with Seka. I thought for sure that Svetlana would have changed her ways because ‘800 Fantasy Lane’ was her first feature also. I made excuses for her, I thought, well, she just didn’t know what she was doing… So by the time ‘Ultra Flesh’ came around, I thought she would have straightened up her act, but she really hadn’t.” Despite the unpleasant surroundings of her first porn film, Lisa De Leeuw never considered quitting the business. “I really don’t know why I continued. I think it was probably because the money was good and I enjoyed the acting aspects of it.”

According to Lisa, her boyfriend Doug enjoyed watching her have sex with other men on screen, but her family back in Moline had no idea what their daughter was doing for a living. In 1980 she admitted: “I don’t think they know about it. Well, they might. I talked to them about a month ago, and they asked questions, but in a kind of a roundabout way, about what I was doing. But they wouldn’t ask me outright. And if it ever comes down to it, I’ll tell them. But right now, well, they’re so redneck farmer, you know, you don’t dare shock them, especially when they are older people. Because my parents are in their fifties. And they’ve been raised with one standard, and you don’t come out and say, ‘Mom, I’m doing this!’ I wouldn’t want them to keel over.”

Lisa De Leeuw 2The first film she actually enjoyed making was ‘Pro-Ball Cheerleaders’ (1979), although she caught pneumonia during the filming after having sex for three hours in a rain-soaked field. “After that everyone decided that they liked me wet. They kept putting me in these water scenes.” One such scene was in ‘Garage Girls’ (1980), where she had sex with John Leslie in a shower. It was not only the best sex scene of the film, but also one of the best of her career. The highpoint, however, came with her appearance in ‘Amanda By Night’ (1981), when, after numerous previous nominations she finally won the Award for Best Supporting Actress. Lisa was cynical about the awards though, claiming: “it was a lot like the Academy Awards – a lot of it was political… After that, I received two Erotica’s which was nice, but I wasn’t even invited to the awards those years. I thought that was kind of funny! I didn’t even know I was nominated. I read about it later.”

By late 1980 Lisa had made about 18 porn films in which she had sex with about 35 different men and perhaps 20 women. In her private life, however, she had only had sex with 15 partners. “A lot of people think that when you’re in porno films that you’re very loose, that you’ll screw anybody, photographers, directors, that you go to swing parties every night, and I don’t! I’ve had several photographers come into the business and they think automatically that if they’re shooting a girl they’re going to get her into bed. And it’s not true. Most girls that I know and respect in this business come in, they do their job, they get paid, they leave… If they wanted to be hookers, they’d stand down on Sunset Boulevard, or something.”

Although never as popular as other porn stars of her time, such as Seka or Veronica Hart, Lisa De Leeuw was, by this point, one of the most successful actresses in the industry. Furthermore, despite sometimes clashing with her on a personal level, her co-stars enjoyed working with her. In his autobiography Jerry Butler recalls: “Lisa De Leeuw is an abundant, extreme personality… For some reason I also found her to be sexy. No matter how much of a primadonna she was, no matter how demanding she was, Lisa transformed from a big, bold, untouchable landmark into a flesh and blood woman when my dick was going in and out of her.”

By this time Lisa had also married her boyfriend. “He did a few films… He really didn’t get too many roles though. He encouraged me because I was young and everybody wanted me and he could sit home and collect the money and then harass me to find him parts in films! So we just had a parting of the ways because of that.” Following the divorce she took a year out in 1984 and later married a musician. “I had been doing so much I was getting emotionally exhausted. It was right when everybody was wanting to do kinky sex. If you wouldn’t do it, they wouldn’t hire you… I was very close to a nervous breakdown.” However, the fact is that by 1984 Lisa De Leeuw had put on an enormous amount of weight. Her beautiful full-breasted figure of 1980, when she made ‘Ultra Flesh’, ‘Upstairs Downstairs’ and ‘Garage Girls’, was transformed into an overweight mass by the time ‘Bodies In Heat’ (1983) and ‘Ten Little Maidens’ (1984) were released. Quite often she would not even have sex in these films.

After her hiatus, Lisa slowly began to return to the porn industry in the mid-1980’s. “I got back into films and personal appearances and things. I co-produced a few films with Ginger Lynn and found that that was more bother than it was worth, plus I wasn’t getting laid.” By the late 1980’s, however, the US porn industry was in a quagmire. Budgets had dropped, and as a result so had standards. The elaborate settings and scripts that had existed when Lisa first entered porn was a thing of the past. She was overweight, and as acting was no longer a necessity, she could not hope to compete with new younger porn stars of the era such as Kascha or April West. Lisa De Leeuw began to slowly fade from public view.

Although by her own admission she entered porn in order to make money, Lisa never condemned the industry. “I will never look down on it… there’s so many people like Linda Lovelace who now makes her money by degrading the business and I don’t think I would ever do that because it has been very good for me. It’s given me more self-esteem, more confidence. I’ve gotten to see a lot of the world. I’ve made a lot of money. I’ve made a lot of great friends. Vanessa Del Rio, Samantha Fox… There are just a lot of really good people in the industry. Most people on the outside look at it and go ‘Oh yeah, they’re all tramps and sluts – instead of having dinner they’re having orgies’ – and we’re really not like that… I’m not saying I don’t like sex, but my all time fantasy has been to do it in a bed without high heels and a nylon garter belt… without having to yell, ‘Oooh, I’m coming, I’m coming’. And in the missionary position too, which they never do!”

Lisa never understood the public’s negative attitude towards porn. “I confess that I’m baffled by the ratings system. Dragonslayer depicted baby eating, and it was rated PG. Rape, maiming, killing are only rated R, but sex… I saw all these previews for the reissue of ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ on primetime TV. Usually followed by the news with a big headline: Porno Bust! They can’t decide which is more obscene – death or sex?” Lisa also admits that she has no time for anti-porn feminists: “I’m proud of my body; I got my weight down from 165 to 120 [pounds], and I should have the right to put my best foot forward. If a club owner hires a singer, he’s giving her an ‘opportunity’, but if he hires a topless dancer, it’s called ‘exploitation’. In both cases the performer is combining her natural beauty with the craft and artistry she has developed.”

In 1988 she said in an interview: “Ten years from now, I can’t see myself actively involved in acting or stripping or anything like that. It’s just that it comes to a point in your life where you gotta say, ‘This is what I want to do and I don’t want to keep nickel and diming in the business.’” Unfortunately Lisa De Leeuw became heavily involved with drugs, through which she became infected with the HIV virus. Various sources claim that she eventually died of AIDS on 11 November 1993, thereby becoming the only renowned female porn star from the Golden Age to ever to die of the disease. According to former porn director David Jennings, however, she was still alive in 2000. The case remains open. Regardless, she remains one of the best-loved stars of the early 1980’s, and has since been inducted into the ‘X Rated Critics Hall OF Fame’

Eva Lux

Adult film actress, fetish model and noted blogger Eva Lux died at age 32. It was reported that Ms. Lux, real name Leticia Lynn Blake died of a heroin overdose. Alsana Sin, a fellow actress, model and blogger stated on her blog site that her friend Eva Lux died just hours after they had filmed a scene together. One of the people who posted a response on Ms. Sin’s website summed up my feelings exactly: “I’m tired of beautiful girls (or anybody) dying of drugs.” I was fascinated by reading Ms. Lux’s own blog. It stopped four days before her death. She did’n’t talk much about the world of porn, instead, she talked about the world, the daily grind, friends, religion and philosophy. Stay away from drugs folks. Prayers of comfort for her family and friends.

Where is Britney Madison? Dead From A Car Accident

Britney Madison

Porn star Britney Madison, sometimes known as Britney Jade, died in a Las Vegas car crash on April 30, 2005. Born Stacey Pfeiffer on March 22, 1984, Madison had appeared in approximately 63 porn titles in a two year career, according to the Internet Adult Film Database.

Known for her natural figure, Madison was featured in films like Chunky Nurses and Butt’Er Face 3. Her director in those films, SkinTight Pictures’ Cram Johnson, said that Madison had lived in his building for a year and then didn’t speak to him once the movies were released, offended by their titles. “She was very nice but naive,” Johnson told Fleshbot. “When I saw her four or five months ago, she was very trim; maybe the movies got to her.”

The news broke when Brad Fitzgerald, the webmaster of the now-dormant BritneyMadison.com, discovered from a newspaper that a Stacey Pfeiffer had died in a car crash near McCarran International Airport. He alerted Madison’s website members. “She was a beautiful person,” Fitzgerald said, “always a joy to work with, and our thoughts are with her family and friends.”- G. Ponante
